Captivate 13.2 Simulation of app: Preview of slides is too zoomed in by default

Question

When I capture a simulation of our website using the settings below, and preview it in my browser, what “learners” see is the top-left logo of our website, zoomed in at approximately 250%.

In the project slides, the capture area is correct, but once I preview it, or publish it, all you can see is that top-left corner of the slide unless you use the scroll wheel to move around.

Capture settings:

Capture: Application Window

Size: Window Size

Panning: Automatic Panning

Simulation Type: Training

Project Settings:

Desktop: 1280 x 720px

Content Display: Proportional (tried ranges from 50% to 80% with no difference)

I’m seeing the same thing. Try using Captivate Classic--there isn’t much difference in the result.

As a general rule, I like to record full screen with a single monitor set to the desired screen size. I use my laptop because my tower has four 4K monitors and it’s too much trouble to adjust them all.
