Captivate 13 captions "Apply to all slides" not working.

I’m having an issue with captivate 13 where my captions keep changing to a serif font when it should be arial. The theme is set to arial, but even after I manually change captions to arial, when I leave the slide and come back it changes back to the serif font. 

Is there a specific workflow I need to do for the “Apply to all slides” to work? It seems to work for some files, but not others.
