Does anyone have a work around that would stop captivate from adding random [silence] tags to my imported captions?
I tried adding static background noise to fill the silence and it still puts in a silence tag. And yet if I import the exact same audio and caption file into articulate storyline, it does not add a silence tag...
Can confirm as an issue. I believe it might be how Captivate handles caption timings that aren't back-to-back. Captivate does not currently have an individual timing per caption nor does it allow for no captions to be displayed with CC button pressed. So if there's a cap in timings of captions, it just inserts [SILENCE] so that it has something to show on-screen.
I'm not sure if this is the best way to go about it or it is required by accessibility...
