Captivate 2: Click box shortcut key not working on first slide

I posted a few months ago about my click box shortcut key not working on the first slide of my captivate 1 project once it has been exported, and the Captivate community expert said to "upgrade to captivate 2." We'll, I did that (and Captivate 3 came out a month later), but it is STILL not working. Please tell me that I'm missing something.

I am having this same problem all of a sudden on a project where the click boxes were working fine but are no longer.

The most likely cause of your problem is that you must bring focus to the Captivate movie before keyboard input is interpreted as being intended for the movie instead of the browser. That hasn't changed because it is not Captivate related, but is caused by Windows handling of "focus".

The discussion you had earlier did not deal with that issue specifically, but was discussing the IE security warning about running ActiveX content (Flash). You can review that earlier thread by clicking this link. I believe that in that thread, mention was made of forcing focus to the movie by using Java-script to do so ... or did I imagine that?

Hope this helps.
