Captivate 2 "Info" on Playbar

In Captivate 1, we were able to go into the "guts" of the program and edit out the "i" that showed up on the playbar. Now that we are using Captivate 2 we have the same issue. Our Department's Standards will not allow us to use this "info" button on the playbar due to accessibility and 508 issues. Is there a way to edit the .swf files that Captivate 2 uses for the playbar that contains the CC. Or is there a playbar without an "info" button that contains the CC? Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

Matt Wells

    mwells75,
the fla's for all the playbar skins are located in "Captivate 2\Templates\PlaybackFLA\" folder, you could edit one or all of the skins in flash to remove the "i" button then publish the skin and save it into "Captivate 2\Gallery\PlaybackControls\SwfBars\"

    brian_rogers,
there are numerous posts about removing the "i" button in captivate 1 .
simply go into the playbars folder and either delete or rename the 2 bmp's associated with the playbar style you want to use in your movie,
i.e. if you wanted to use the black round playbar then the files you need to rename or delete are black round-infobuttonup.bmp and black round-infobuttondown.bmp.

    Paul_D,

Thank You very much! It worked perfectly! Adobe has made it alot easier to change and alter the skins in Captivate 2.

    Thanks again for your help,

YES!!! We need to be able to do this ASAP. Our clients don't want to see the 'i' button. I've tried to go into the 'guts' of the movie a little bit and it seems that there is not a way to hide that button, only the entire bar. If someone has done this (or has done this in Captivate 1) please let us know so that we can try to get rid of this button. It is unacceptable for our clients.

    thanks,
