Captivate 2017 and PowerPoint 2016

After working with Captivate + PowerPoint 2010 without issues for years, I just upgraded to Office 2016 (which includes PowerPoint 2016). I can still import PPTs into Captivate 2017, but when I try to edit a slide from within Captivate I now get an error "Unable to open Microsoft PowerPoint. Check your PowerPoint installation". Does anybody know hot to fix this issue?

    Hi There,

This is a known issue with Adobe Captivate and Office 2016.

This issue is happening because Power Point 2016 ActiveX object is not able to save the pptx while the object is embedded in another application.

The only work around is to edit the PPT in PowerPoint itself and then update the PPT from Library in Captivate.

    Regards,

    Mayank

Sorry, cannot help you because I never use PPT-import.  Be a bit patient, due to the holidays probably the PPT-import experts are not here at this moment.
