Captivate 2017: Cannot open HTML5 lesson on Web Server

I created a brand new HTML5 lesson.  I can preview it in Captivate.  I can load it in file explorer.  I can view it in the file system on the webserver page.  However, using the http address (and yes, the URL is working properly), I cannot open it via the URL.  All I get is the preloader spinner.  We run many flash products on our web, so that's not it.  I unchecked the preloader box and after publish, it only goes to the preloader spinner.  I never progress past that on the webserver.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Is your webserver configured to allow the JSON mimetype?  If not, that could be your problem.

Since later versions of CP9 all HTML5 content from Captivate now uses JSON files to deliver a lot of the PNG and GIF type graphics.  Webservers aren't set by default to enable JSON, so you need to talk to your server administrator about getting this done.

Hi Tricia,

How big is it? If its really big it may be network lag or crappy WIFI..If you actually pre-load just 40% that will make it load faster if it is WIFI.. let us know.

Cheers,

Steve
