Captivate 2017 Content Export Workaround?

Hello all.  I realize Captivate 2017 files cannot be opened in previous versions like Captivate 9.  But the question is, is there some sort of workaround (even a tedious one) for exporting content so that it can be used in 9?

I won't go into the boring details about why I have to do this, but I have a course created in 2017 that I desperately need to get content into 9. Recreating the course from scratch would be a huge pain in the rear.

I've tried copying and pasting individual slides and elements (text blocks, photos, etc.) to no avail.  Exporting content doesn't seem to work either.

You'd think you could at least copy and paste text and images.

Any hacks anyone is aware of?

You posted the same question in this thread as well, where I answered.

How to export a Project created by Adobe Captivate 2017 for Adobe Captivate 9

Please don't repeat a question, especially since it is exactly for the same versions of Captivate.

Only possbility is to export assets from the Library and import them in a CP9 project. That will even work for shared actions.

Sorry to double post, but I wasn't sure how quickly questions would be answered and I needed one sooner rather than later. That thread was some months old so I wanted to get it out there.

    Thanks again....
