Captivate 2017 creating extra bullets and list numbers in preview

Hi,

I have recently updated an older course to Captivate 2017 and now when I preview the course (both in the browser and in SCORM cloud) many of the slides are showing either an extra bullet or list number under the text. These are not actually present in the course file. I have no clue how to update this. I don't need the course to be responsive (only HTML5 compliant for now) but did create a responsive course. Not sure if that is the issue and if I can take the changes I made to the file and create a non-responsive course instead?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Upgraded from which version? Was the bulleted text typed in Captivate or copied from a formatted text like from Word (bad practice)?

    From Captivate 9. I took the Captivate 9 file and created a non-responsive Captivate 2017 version and there isn't a problem, just in the responsive file.

    As for copying from Word, I am not sure as I didn't create the original but will keep that in mind as I complete the updates (again! in the non-responsive file).

    Do you mean that those extra bullets/numbers only appear when you create a responsive project out of the non-responsive project? Can you insert some screenshots?
