We have purchased Captivate 2017 but we are having issues with it's activation when connected to our network via a NextGen firewall we have checked that the list of websites are accessible using both port 80 and 443 :-

If we are connected from a home broadband (i.e. not through the UTM firewall) activation works normally but once back on the network the activation process again fails after a few days.  I suspect that Firewall Application or DLP monitoring may be blocking the activation however Adobe support has so far been very basic and have not achieved any success, nor made any progress.   I have tried the Unable to activate Adobe Captivate (2017 release) which works on the home broadband but not through our firewall.

Can anyone suggest anything which I could look for on the firewall logs in terms of Denies.  I see no Denied to any of the URLs above on the web filtering side and not much which I believe to be relevant on the firewall Application monitoring.

    Hi Carol,

This list of endpoints may or may not be complete depending on when it was updated last; as my experience have been.

I would recommend you to email to tcssup@adobe.com requesting the latest list of all the endpoints that you need to whitelist at your end for Adobe Application Manager (AAM) and Adobe Captivate to work fine.

Let me know if you have any other questions around this.

PS: The latest version of AAM is Creative Cloud Desktop App
