captivate 2017 mouse path and caption issues

We are using Captivate 2017

When we duplicate a slide that was created in simulation mode, the mouse path does not show up. How can we make the mouse path appear?

Also, is there a way to change the starting point of the mouse path? We can change the end point but not that starting point.

In addition, the text to caption does not complete before the next text to caption starts appearing. How might we correct this?

One more thing. Captivate is not previewing in the browser. We are using animations. However, I have selected "show flash" from Google Chrome.
