Captivate 2017 Subscription version not updating on laptop

Hi,

I have a subscription to the 2017 version of Captivate, but my PC only has Captivate 9 installed.  I have used the update option under Help in the program itself, but it doesn't update to the 2017 version.  I've also checked my account, but there is no option in there to update or download the program again to my laptop.  Consequently I'm having all kinds of issues with the program itself & am receiving fatal errors when I go to publish.  Does anyone know how I can force my laptop to update to the 2017 version or how I can reinstall the new version without having to set up another subscription licence.

You can have both CP9 and CP2017 installed with one subscription. For that reason the Update option in the menu is not functional except for installing patches and dot upgrades. I strongly recommend to keep C9 as well. Go to the Adobe site, download the trial version of CP2017 and install it. Alternative is this site:

When logging in with your Adobe ID, linked with the subscription, the version will be validated.
