Good evening all,

I am working on a project in Adobe Captivate 2019. The project is about 100 slides long consisting of images and text only. Every time I try a preview or publish the project, Captivate crashes with an error message stating " A fatal error has occured and the app is being terminated.........Please restart Adobe captivate". Devestating to say the least after working on an +100 slide project!

I have tried placing files in different locations and restarting the computer all together but no luck. My computer is an HP EliteBook 840 G5 with 16.0 of GB. Has anyone else had this issue?

It sounds like there may be some corruption on one or more slides in your project. I would suggest you try a process of elimination to locate the corruption.

Take a copy of your project so that you can do some experimenting without making any changes to your main project.  Then try hiding the first 50 slides in the project and attempting to preview.  If that doesn't work, try hiding the other 50.  If that works, then you know your issue is somewhere in the first 50 slides.

Use this process to find the issue.  If you can locate it down to a specific slide, then try removing objects from that slide before previewing.  You don't have to delete the objects.  Just drag them off into the scrap area outside the stage.  That means they won't be included in the publishing.
