Captivate 2019 - getting started with data

I have an instructional design background and am being asked to look into using Captivate data analytics. The learning intervention will not be using the LMS for a specific course, it will be placed on a protected website. Is there a good place for me to start my SCORM or xAPI research? Maybe a video tutorial or training document I can follow?
