Captivate 2019 - publish to video results in all videos showing spinning wheel in final output

I used the video demo option to capture 6 screen recordings (13 total slides in the project). The longest video slide is around 52 seconds. The rest, much shorter. I published using the Video option. All video slides display a spinning wheel in the mp4 output file. I've done this numerous times with Captivate 8 without issue. The project itself and all output files are on my local drive. Any help is appreciated.

Adobe confirms this is a bug in Captivate 2019 version 11.8. Their fix is to have me un-install 11.8 and install version 11.5.5. Maybe this will help someone else. They were, at least, very responsive to my issue.

Indeed, I have asked to add this bug to the Issues part in the Help document about 11.8

Not everyone can roll back to 11.5.5.553 however, since it is not compatible with Win11, Monterey and M1 chips.

To add - I copied just one slide (the 52 second slide) into a new project and published it to video.  It still shows a spinning wheel for the video.

I'm attaching a sample Captivate file with just a single slide recorded with Video Demo mode and the resulting published mp4 video.  When I preview the project, it looks fine.  The issue surfaces during the publish.

Well, it won't let me upload the Captivate file. I get the following message.

    • The attachment's testsingleslide.cptx content type (application/x-captivate) does not match its file extension and has been removed.
