Captivate 2019 publishes empty mp4 files

Question

Hi,

I have both Captivate 2019 and Captivate 12 installed in my laptop. I used Captivate 2019 for software simulation but I got only empty mp4 files when published. The file size is 0 bytes. I tried opening the videos in both WMP and VLC but I just got errors only.

Could anyone help me with this? Thank you.

Version 12 can create only responsive files, thus it has no possibility to publish to mp4. I suspect you created in Demo mode since you want a passive video output. I strongly recommend to use Video Demo in Captivate Classic because it will create  higher quality output to MP4 and its editor has a lot more features as well. Pesonally I use Software simulation only in Trainong or Assessment mode
