Install the build

Pre-requisite: Uninstall the existing version of Captivate (2019 release).

    Hi Diane,

If you have the trial version of CP 2019 and you are on Big Sur, CP 2019 may not work as expected. You need to install the early build.

Hi Saurav, I downloaded the Cp_BigSur.zip. But the zipped file won't open up and I've uninstalled my old Captivate version that was running fine previously. This is disastrous as I'm an elearning consultant and designer, and I need it for work! Help.

    Two issues.

I am unable to log in to register. It is asking for my serial although I am already logged into my Adobe subscription.

I ran into a problem trying to build a new presentation from PowerPoint. On the Conovert Microsoft PowerPoint Presentations screen (after import from PowePoint where I select what slides I want to use) I am unable get captivate to display the slides, select OK, or Cancel. I had to force close Captivate.

Hi, I have not received the email. Also, there is anoher instance where the Captivate workspace goes black (totally black). Using the menu item View->Magnification makes the workspace go totally black if the values 300, 400 or 600 are selected. Selecting 200 or lower or selecting best fit shows the workspace as expected. Thank you.

Trying to register this build on a Mac Pro, running Big Sur and it quits saying it does not recongize the Adobe account. The Account is good and has all my other CC software loaded.

Adobe Captivate is not part of the Adobe Creative Cloud family of applications.  You need a separate subscription license for Captivate.

I was added to the Marine Corps University Enterprise list and I gave them my email associated with the rest of my CC account.
