Captivate 3 Installer

Just installed Captivate 3 as an upgrade option to Captivate 2.
Everything loaded, but the installer failed on this-

"We looked in the default location for qualified products, but none was found. This can happen if you installed Adobe Captivate 3 on a new computer without first installing your old software. You may verify upgrade eligibility without installing your previous software by completing the fields below."

I selected Adobe Captivate 2, but I dont have access to the purchase information. (Our company accountant is on leave, and has it.) I uninstalled and re-installed, verified that Captivate 2 was working, (it never asked me to re-enter the serial) and it is in the default location. I tried re-installing Cap 3, only to find the same problem as before. I guess the install programmers are lazy by nature, or felt like playing a cruel joke on people that upgrade. Anyone else have this problem?

    What specifically is it looking for? A serial number? If so, try reinstalling or restarting Captivate 2 and clicking Help > About and see if you may obtain it there. Maybe that's all you need.

    Never thought of looking in the "About" section. Geez, its been too long. LOL. Thanks Rick!
