Question

Captivate 4 Skin no border?

In Captivate 3 if I unchecked the "show borders" box the skin buttons would  be placed within my project. I have tried to do the same thing in Captivate 4,  but its adding 30 pixels to the height of my project, and added the buttons to  the bottom.

Is there a way to have the skin within the project in Captivate 4 like it did in version 3?

Thanks,
-jim

Unfortunately no. For some reason that feature is not included in CP4.

Thanks, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't the only one.

This displeases me very much. We used a No Boarder skin on everything we do at our company. I gues we'll have to make our own buttons again. Having the skin inside of our projects was a time saver.

    Thanks agian!

I totally agree with you - I have used the playbar INSIDE the recording area forever, as I too have a defined placeholder size and cannot afford the extra 31 pixels, nor the ugly look of a playbar spanning the entire width.  I am going to have to copy all the slides, in batches, back to Captivate 2. What a time waster and what a ridiculous omission this is from Adobe.

If you find any other solutions from the anywhere, can you email me on jowright@jwltraining.co.uk. Ta.
