Can anyone tell me where I can locate the file to download Captivate 5.0?

If you're planning on just downloading without paying someone for it...that's probably illegal and I hope no one would share anything here about where you could do that. If I were you, I'd look online for people selling it..it's likely cheaper now with the arrival of Captivate CS6

What did I miss here? Why would you think I am not paying for it??? I have never been in the habit of practicing 'ILLEGAL" activity, and why would I start with an old version of Captivate? I have it on my computer at work and now I need to add it to my laptop so that I can work from home. I copied the exe file, but it is not working.

You need to INSTALL Captivate on your laptop, not just copy the Captivate exe file from your work computer. This requires that you find the Captivate 5 install package, and when you install it, you'll need to enter the same user license key that you used on your work computer. That's how it works.
