Captivate 5.5 and Audition 5.5 not linking

I have Captivate 5.5 installed and have downloaded and started using the trial version of Audition . I am unable to get the 2 programs to see each other. In captivate when I edit audio. mu edit with Audition button is still grayed out.

I have tried with only captivate running, both running , Audition started then launching captivate.

Nothing seems to work.

Do I need to do something to link the 2 programs so I can use Audition to edit my content?

Have not tried editing and then importing. Maybe I will try that with my next project. I think

you are correct it only works if you buy the entire learning suite.

In my opinion that is a really bad idea as I can't justify the expense of the whole suite when all I really need are these two programs.

Oh well I'll play through the trial, but if I can't roundtrip it just isn't viable.

I now have the elearning suite and the Audition button is still greyed out. What should I do now?

Hello David,

I'm not totally sure, but I think roundtripping with Audition is a functionality of the eLearning Suite. Really, I hope I'm wrong but cannot test it out since I do work with eLS. You can however edit audio clips in the Library with Audition and then drag them to the slides. Did you try that?
