Captivate 5.5 - problem with resetting points

I made one module in Captivate 5.5 - using "execute advanced action" in clickbox and only in two slides, for no reason (there are no entry or exit action), it resets points.

Do you know what could be the reason? And why I should do to repair it?

I tried to remake these two slides, but it didn't help. Moreover I changed some lines in java script or manifest, but it didn't work.

Now I have no idea what to do.

Thanks for all replies.

Ewa

Ewa,

I'm afraid you will need to give us more detail about this issue so that we can try to help you with it:

  • Do I understand correctly that you are using clickboxes to execute some advanced actions?  If so, what Advanced Actions are executed when the user clicks these boxes?
  • What do you mean that "it resets points"?  Do you mean that clicking the boxes is changing the final score of the module, or do you mean something else?
  • What are you trying to achieve with this module?

Hi Rod!

Replying to your questions:

  • Yes, you do. I'm using clickboxes to execute some advanced actions: when the user clicks one of these boxes, he selects an answer (like in quiz) and some feedback will be giving for him.

  • Exacly, that is what I mean. What is important, the final score of the module is changing, before clicking the boxes.

  • I'm trying to make the user has to answer to achieve three gifts, which represent his knowledge about the module.

Do I explain you what I mean?

How do you know the final score of the module is changing BEFORE clicking the boxes?

Normally the final score is only seen on the Quiz Results slide at the end of the module.  How are you monitoring the final score before seeing this slide?
