Captivate 5.5 Simulation Editing

I've created a simulation and would like to cut one of the slides in half and put another slide in between.

Please provide any input....

More details please: 'cut in half' is meaning half of the timeline or physically half of the slide? And is this a classic static slide, a video demo or a FMR-slide?

I recorded using the "Software Simulation" option in Captivate 5.5 and it created various slides.  I would like to take one of the slides (audio and video) and cut it in half.  Then I'd like to add a separate static slide and insert it in between them.

Please advise..

Sorry, still don't know if it is a static slide or a FMR-slide? Could you post a screenshot of the timeline of that slide you want to cut in half?
