Question

Captivate 5.5 - When Publishing to SWF FV4 files do not even show up

Hi,

I have published my captivate project that has video files inserted (FLV & FV4). When I published this project and went to view it, the video files do not even show up in the published project.

Can you please help with this. I am using Captivate 5.5 and need to publish this ASAP.

Regards,

Hana

First configure Flash Global Security to trust your publish folder:

Then see if the video files show.  If they do not, check your links again.  You should be able to copy the video files into the same folder location where the published SWF will end up and then just use the filename of the video file as your relative link.  If that still doesn't work, make sure your video filename contains no spaces, punctuation or special characters.

Hi Rod,

I have tried this, the video still doesn't work or even show up (I have saved this on my C drive). I am new to captivate 5.5. I have just inserted the videos as an FLV file.

The video locations are in the same folder as the SWF file. Is there anything else I can do?

Thanks

Hana

I should add, I am publishing to SCORM if this changes anything?
