Captivate 5, Click Boxes

Hi all,

I'm having a hard time formatting my text boxes. I would like to have 7 different text boxes on the screen. When a user clicks on each of the text boxes, I would like a caption to appear for 10 seconds, then disappear until the user clicks on it again.

When I preview my presentation and click on the screen, all 7 of the captions appear until you progress to the next slide. I would like the caption only to appear when a user clicks on a certain area of the screen.

Any help is appreciated!

hi,

Use Rollover Slidelet.

Set Slidelet time to 10 sec.

Insert text caption inside slidelet, and set size of slidelet exactly to

match size of caption inside it.

then make rollover slidelet to stick when user clicks.

Thanks,

Vishwas.

Hello,

Would it not be easier to have rollover Captions? Or eventually a rollover slidelet that you set to exactly 10secs.

Hi Lilybiri,

Thanks for responding!

A rollover caption is a good idea, but do you know if I able to have a user click on the object and then have the rollover caption appear?

My only prerequisite is that the user clicks on the image before reading the caption.

Thanks!!

Hello,

No, a rollover is a rollover.

Do not see immediately a solution, especially because of the fact that you want the caption to be visible for 10secs and then to disappear. Will reflect a while (late over here) and if I see a way, will be back.
