Captivate 5 crashing when opening project created in Captivate 5 Beta

Hi all

Hoping someone could possibly shed some light on the above. I was recently involved in beta testing Captivate 5, and created several projects (some of which were published). I've now migrated to the full retail version of Captviate (this was installed to a freshly formatted OS/Hard drive), but when I try and open this particular project, I'll get the Captivate splash screen, but then the project just refuses to load. The system more-less just freezes and I'll have to kill the task manually.

Not sure if it's a separate issue or not, but *some* (not all) of these projects had a voice-over that would play during a specific slide. It seems these projects could be contributing to the problem overall, but it's an interesting point nonetheless.

Has anyone experienced the same behaviour?

I'm running Captivate 5 on Mac OS X 10.6.4, Macbook Pro 13" 4GB RAM.

Most other projects open just fine (including several that I had created in Captivate 5 beta).

Any help is appreciated - there's some changes I need to make to an existing project and I can't for the life of me open it up... *eek*

Kind regards

Shem

    Hi there,

There are a lot of changes that has gone in from Beta to GM. So projects created in Beta may not open.

    Many thanks Ashwin

Bit of a shame as it was quite a labour-intensive project, so it looks like going back to the drawing board for me

I believe it was advised not to create Production projects on Beta builds. I do understand the pain to start everything from scratch again but there is no other option left.
