Captivate 5 vs Captivate 7

I have Adobe Captivate 5 and am wondering if this is very different from Captivate 7.  I am going to take a class and they only offer Captivate 7.  Do you think it will still be helpful?

    The interface changed somewhat in Captivate 6, and the interface for Cp8 changed from Cp7.

    Recent versions of Captivate have added Themes and HTML5 publishing plus lots of other enhancements to Advanced Actions.  These are all things you won't have in Cp5.

    You SHOULD be looking to upgrade to a more recent version of Captivate whatever the case.  Cp8 is now a year old, which means Cp9 will be out shortly.
