Captivate 6 - Quiz - 3 Attempts/Fail not report to LMS

I have set the quiz so that after 3 failed attempts, the course is failed.  This is working but not reporting correctly in our LMS, we use PeopleSoft.  Has anyone else encountered this?  Any suggestions are appreciated.  Thank you, Michaela

I was asked to provide more information.

  1. Upload the course to SCORM cloud.  I don't know how to do this.
  2. What do you mean by 'this is working'?  I meant it works outside of our LMS.  So after 3 attempts it shows failed and does not display the "retake" button.  But our LMS shows it as "Completed" and "Passed."
  3. What are the actions for Failing grade and Passing Grade? Please see screen prints:

You can upload a restricted number of tests for free.

I suspect that the 100% Slide views criterion is the culprit. A slide is only be viewed when all frames have been visited. It is very possible that you have buttons somewhere that will jump to another (or next) slide, which means they'll jump over the frames of the inactive part of the buttons, and all frames are not visited.

Moreover, the Required option is very strict. Can you test if putting it back to 'Optional' gives you a better result? There are other ways to push the user at taking the Question slides. If you do not provide the Next/Skip button, and don't allow them to use the progress bar in a playbar in the quiz, they have to answer each question. Same with score slide.

That did not work for me.  I have added the course to SCORM Cloud.  How do I share it with you?  Thank you for your help.  Michaela

Can you provide more details? To test if the problem is due to Captivate or to the LMS, can you upload the course to SCORM Cloud? It is not possible from within CP (you are on a very old version), but it can be done after publishing.

What do you mean by 'this is working'? Did you set up the Quiz Preferences to 3 attempts? What are the actions for Failing grade and Passing Grade? How did you set up the Reporting, which SCORM version?
