Captivate 6 Scorm 1.2 Resume Problem

Hi,

First of all, i am new here, and sorry if i am asking something dumb.So, thanks for your understanding in advance.

I am using Captivate 6 for my projects. I have some really big ones which includes normal slides, quizzes and interactive slides.

In one project, there is total of around 400 slides and whenever i test the project it doesn't start where it left off (when i quit in -for example- 400.th slide, it starts from the slide 20. It is very frustrating for the course taker as you would guess as well) . I am using SCORM 1.2 as LMS and here are the screenshots of TOC and Publish Settings:

I am desperate because of this problem.

Please Help!

Welcome to the forum,

400 slides - wow, I would say that is your problem.

The suspend data field has a finite size limit (can't remember the exact value off the top of my head).  I would guess that you are maxing out the field well before your users get anywhere close to slide 400.

Have your LMS admin check out the data in the field.

I also test all of my courses in a tool called RELOAD SCORM Player (Google it for download), you will be able to tell exactly where you are maxing out suspend data without your LMS admin this way.

You might want to consider breaking your course into smaller pieces if you need to have users resume.
