Good morning,

I am used to working in Captivate 5 (and previous versions). I am now using Captivate 6 and will soon be using Captivate 8. I have noticed that when I publish a project for SCORM 1.2 that I do not see the same files that I used to in Captivate 5. In Captivate 5 the file breakdown looked like this::

adlcp_rootv1p2.xsd

ims_xml.xsd

imscp_rootv1p1p2.xsd

imsmanifest.xml

imsmd_rootv1p2p1.xsd

name-of-the-lesson_skin.swf

name-of-the-lesson.hm

name-of-the-lesson.wf

(folder) SCORM_support

                        scorm_support.htm

                        scorm_support.js

                        scorm_support.swf

  1. standard.js

Where did the "SCORM_support" folder go? Has it been replaced by other files?

Such as:

browsersniff.js

captivate.css

metadata.xml

SCORM_utilities.js

scormdriver.js

ScormEnginePackageProperties.xsd

Utilities.js

Thank you,

TPK

Correct answer RodWard

Captivate's SCORM functionality was updated in version 6 (a LOOONGG overdue change) to use the much better SCORM Cloud drivers.  That's why you are seeing different files ever since.

Hi RodWard,

Thank you. I figured as much since I couldn't find any of the older publishing source files aI used to use.

Cheers,

TPK
