Importing audio to slides worked fine for several projects and for the first slide of my new project. But when Iimported the next audio, I couldn't hear it. Suddenly, then I couldn't hear audio in ay slides.

I have tried the following to no avail:

Rebooting

Restarting Cap

Reimporting various files

Importing to a new project file

In fact, now, I am unable to hear imported audio in ALL previous Captivate files.

Meanwhile, the file plays fine every where else.

Any one seen this?

Thanks,

Erin

The same thing happened. But good news,I figured it out.

The trouble happens when I dock and undock my workstation.

The system reverts to pointing at monitors as the system default audio device.

The tricky part is that it does not always behave this way making tshooting difficult.

It's not an obvious answer for anyone unless you're in IT and seen it before.

Thanks for the help!

Sounds like your PC may have an issue with audio drivers.

What happens if you start a new blank CPTX file and add a single audio clip to the first or second slide?  Do you hear audio then?
