Captivate 7: Click Box with Right-Click set does not work

Hi,

I am new to using Captivate (version 7) and my project is going well apart from one Click box. The simulation I have recorded right clicks and shows a context menu. The Click box that has been added has been correctly defined as being "Right Click", but when I publish the project neither Right Click, Left click work at all. All of the Left Click buttons are OK.

Any ideas?

Dave

Do you launch the SWF from the companion HTML-file that will call the JS file in which the right-click functionality is, and then run the SWF?

    Hi Lilybiri,

I run the htm file (with the swf & js files in the same directory)

Did you remember to turn off Accessibility option in Preferences?

If you are testing this functionality from your local hard drive and NOT a web server, have you correctly configured Flash Global Security to trust the publish folder location?

    Hi Rodwar,

Thanks for your quick reply. I had switched the Accessibility options off, so that bit is sorted.

When run the generated file from a web server it is all OK (phew!)

I have now added the SWF file to the Trusted Location List but this does not help when running from my local D Drive.

Add the entire D drive to your trusted location in Flash Global Settings and see if that helps.  Adding a single SWF file is no good.
