Captivate 7 Crashing

For the last few days, the only method to preview a Project was the HTML Web Browser option. Previously, I had been able to use the Preview Project and the Next 5 Slides options.

Today, I have also begun to experience another issue in which the AdobeCaptivate.exe stops working. Whenever I open the Quiz / Reporting window, Enable reporting is unchecked, and the boxes for both LMS and Standard are empty(blank). If I try to use either of the drop down arrow to set LMS to "Other Standard LMSs, the arrow does not function. Whenever I use the drop down arrow in the Standard box, it appears first that the arrow does not function, and the the program stops. All I get is a pop up window that stats AdobeCaptivate.exe has stopped working, and the options to either Debug, or Close program.

ANy help would be appreciated...

I stated some of that incorrectly. It does not crash when I click the arrow for the Standard field- nothing happens at that point.

It crashes when I click either the Configure button next to Standard, or Advanced button towards the bottom of the window.

Take a look at the troubleshooting suggestions here:

You may need to delete your Preferences folder (explained in tip #8).

Thanks. That link was pretty helpful.

I deleted the preferences, but that had no effect.

The project is rather large and complex. I have begun to reduce the size, and am retesting. There are a few more permutations that I have needed to do, and I will post again once I can narrow down what is triggering the issue.
