My question says it all. The text-to-screen audio is not showing up in the first slide, but i can hear the rest of them only the first one is missing. What to do?!

Thank you

Do you have MAC or Windows ?

It's not a good idea to place an audio clip  right on the very first slide.

You can try moving the audio clip back from the start of the slide by a second or so.  Perhaps it's missing the initialization of the clip because you're trying to play a clip when it hasn't fully loaded as yet.

I usually have a very short blank slide of a second or so as my initial slide, with a button on it that the user has to press to kick off the presentation.  I have some text on this slide warning the user that the presentation has audio and advising them to put on headphones so as not to disturb co-workers.  When they click the button it jumps them to the first content slide.  This short delay strategy usually eliminates any issues with audio not playing as expected.
