Captivate 7 freezing when trying to edit spelling preferences?

Hi nic_murdock, Can you check whether you have "Linguistics" folder created under "/Library/Application Support/Adobe"? if not, can you do the following steps

Close Captivate if it is open.

Step 1

• Open finder
• Open the Go menu and select “Go to Folder”
• Type in /Library/Application Support/Adobe and click on Go button
• Create a new folder and call it Linguistics
• Inside the Linguistics folder, create another folder and call it 6.0

Leave this open. We will come back to it

Step 2

• Open new finder window (File->New Finder Window)
• Open the Go menu and select “Go to Folder”
• Type in /Applications/Adobe Captivate 7/required/Plug-Ins/mac/Linguistics and click on Go button
• Select the 2 folders LanguageNames2 and Providers and copy them

Go back to the other finder window which we opened earlier in Step 1 and paste it inside the folder 6.0

Launch Captivate and check the spelling preferences.
