Captivate 7 IMAGE navigation buttons that view for entire project....

Question

I know how to make image buttons out of graphics, however I don't know if it's possible to set them (via the properties panel under timing) to be viewed for the entire project. I know this can be done with smart shapes but smart shapes don't provide the look I want with their limited options. Captivate buttons (that are actual graphics I can import) don't seem allow me to choose "view for the entire project". If this were so, it would make it very easy to control when I want the next button to be hidden/shown using advanced actions without having to copy and paste them in each slide. Is there a solution to this?

Image buttons cannot be set to time for Rest of Project.

You can fill a Shape Button with an image, and set this button to Rest of Project, but Shape buttons will not exactly replicate the appearance of image buttons.

Perhaps you should look at upgrading to Cp8 or downloading the trial version. Shape buttons in Cp8 now have three states (normal, down, and rollover) rather than only two as before. You can fill the button with a different image on each state.

That might get you closer to your goal.
