Captivate 7: Issues with text captions created when recording?

Question

When my colleague records browser screens with Captivate 6, the automatically created text captions include the link text. For example, if he clicks a link that says "Download", Captivate 6 will create a text caption that says something like "Select the Download link."

When I record screens with Captivate 7, the automatically created text captions include a URL, not the link text. For example, if I click that same exact "Download" link, Captivate 7 will create a text caption that says something like "Select the http://some.really.long/URL/notlinktext.html link."

We are both using the same exact recording settings, and we are both using Firefox 29, on Windows 7. The only thing that is different is our versions of Captivate. Is this a bug with Captivate 7?

Hi thereI'm not sure I'd call it a "Bug", but certainly it would appear that the version 7 code is interpreting it differently than the version 6 code did.All I can do is advise that you report to Adobe using the link below:http://www.adobe.com/go/wishCheers... Rick
