I have admin rights on my work station.

I am trying to record a simulation and I am using the training setting, but the system is not recording my clicks

any insight on how to resolve this would be great

Having administrator rights is not the same as 'Run as administrator' for an application. You have to set this up, using the right-click menu on the shortcut to launch Captivate.

Do you listen for the camera clicks when capturing? Each camera click means a new slide is created. Normally that should be done when the user is doing something like clicking. However for some applications (what did you capture?) it is not always working perfectly. Try to insert manually extra slides, using the PrintScreen button (if that is still the shortcut key in Preferences, Recording, Keys.
