Captivate 8 and PC/Mac compatibility issues

Has anyone noticed issues when sharing Captivate files between a Mac and PC with Windows 7?

After publishing a project, the quizzes reversed 2nd attempts on iPad and also froze after the user got an answer wrong twice. We tried deleting all questions and reinserting them, which did not solve the problem. The solution was to completely rebuild the presentation using Captivate on Windows.

We noticed that when we published on a Mac, the file size would jump dramatically, whereas on a PC the file size stayed low.
