Captivate 8 and Yosemite

Smart shapes not working in Captivate 8 with Yosemite.

I am unable to edit the shapes in any meaningful way

Could you please check the exact version of Adobe Captivate 8 ( Go to Help > About Adobe Captivate ) ?

Using Captivate 8.0.1.242

I draw a shape in the usual way but cannot edit it in the preferences panel as none of the tools are visible.

Have turned it off and on again and now works
