Captivate 8 Bookmark 'stuck'

Hi, I have a rather long lesson. If I leave and restart it before slide 39, the bookmarking function acts as expected. If I leave and restart AFTER slide 39 it always restarts at slide 39. This happens in both my LMS and scorm cloud. I've tried both IE and Chrome, cleared cashe, and even deleted and recreated slide 39 but no change.

Anyone have any ideas on why the bookmark seems to be getting 'stuck' on one slide? thanks

Are you publishing to SCORM 1.2?

If so, there are only so many characters you can store (4096) in the suspend_data. For SCORM_2004 it is 64000.

Try publishing to 2004.

Seems to be the solution! Published to scorm 2004, runs as expected in the scorm cloud!! Now I need to convince the LMS to work!

Maybe I'll need to cut down the amount of data I'm trying to pass....

Thanks for the advice! This has been making me (and a colleague) nuts for the past week!!
