Captivate 8 Button Functionality not working on PC

I have created my first (responsive) project in Captivate 8 and the button functionality won't work in either preview or publish mode.  I am working on a Dell PC with Windows 7.  My colleague who has a Macbookpro is able to take the same file and all the buttons work without any problems in preview and published to Scorm.  When I then view the project published by my colleague I can see it correctly and everything works in my browser.

Has anyone else had a similar issue to this?

    Very vague, I also use Win7 and never had such a problem. Which version of 8, present version is 8.0.1.242?

    Thanks.  Version: 8.0.0.145

    Our buttons are set up to show a hidden youtube video on click.  Also the buttons are smartshapes with an image fill.  But all these buttons work on a mac or when published from a mac version of captivate but not from the PC.

    Please, upgrade to the latest version to get rid of some bugs! I cannot guarantee that the problem will be solved, but worth trying. If you want to keep customisation, because you have to delete Preferences and Layouts folder, have a look at:

    Since you are talking about a YouTube video, did you check after publishing to a web server?
