Hi All,

I'm using Captivate to for Video Demos for my organisation but I'm having mega issues when Saving.

When I add a layer/Transition/zoom, then save, I get an error message saying that the application has crashed and its created a back-up,

When I access the back-up, the program has saved at the correct point.

Is there any hints/tips that anyone can give me to prevent Captivate from crashing?

Many thanks in advance

Do you have plenty of space on the disk, folder used to store temp files for cpvc? Is Captivate installed on your system, not on a networked drive?

Maybe you are not talking about Video Demos (cpvc) but about regular cptx-files? In that case, do you clear the cache regularly?

Hi,

I have 385 GB of 500 available,

8GB RAM, (3.22GB useable)

Captivate is installed on my laptop and not on a network drive

The files are being saves as .cpvc files

Many thanks

Check the Working folder in Preferences, Video Demo and clean it please.

Do you Run Captivate as Administrator?
