Captivate 8 GPU "Freak Out" After Adobe CC 2015 Installation

Captivate 8 has started acting weird after I just installed the Adobe CC 2015 updates (side by side with CC 2014). At first I thought it was something to do with preferences, since until I deleted the Captivate prefs I was unable to record Text to Speech narration.  However, the flashing white, and occasionally black, rectangular visual glitches persist when I playback in the IDE, and slide notes that don't show up in the slide notes window until I click in the space they're supposed to be, lead me to believe that there are some other issues in the mix. It seems as if the GPU is being strained by Captivate.

Has anyone else noticed something similar?

If so, are there any solutions?

Is there a 2015 update scheduled that might address these issues?

I'm on a Mac running Yosemite.
