Captivate 8 - published training is randomly pausing on lesson slides

Hello!  I just published a training in Captivate 8 (imported MP4 files created from PowerPoint slides).  Some of the lesson slides are pausing randomly.  Has anyone heard of this, and is there a solution?

Thank you!

Did you import the PPT slides? Which option did you choose to 'advance'? Or did you create the MP4-files in another way and inserted them as video clips?

    Helly Lilybiri,

I imported them from MP4 files which were created from PPT slides.  I set them to advance automatically.  When I preview the lesson it works great - but the random pauses happen once I publish the lesson.  Thank you!

How did you create those MP4 files? How big are they? Maybe it is the loading that is causing the issues? From your answer I deduct that the import PPT-slides was not used in Captivate (where you can have the automatic advancing).

Have you checked those slides to see if there are any interactive objects on them that might be pausing the timeline?

Hi RodWard! There are no interactive objects, animations, or transitions in the slides.  When I preview the slides in captivate they work great - it's only when I publish them that the random pausing starts.  Thank you!
