Captivate 8-- publishing files are blurry

I am bringing in images as JPGs in high resolution. While I am working on the file everything looks sharp but when I publish--the JPGs look blurry. Is there a specific way to publish the files where it all looks sharper?

Captivate provides a setting to change the size and quality of the published output. Go to Preferences -> Project -> Size and Quality. Increase the Settings from Custom(default) to High and click OK. This will provide you high quality images in the output.

The drawback to this is sometimes due to browser cache restrictions, the images might not be rendered properly. Please verify it once after you make the change.

@aren  Default output for slides is Optimized, why is High so much better?

@micheleanderson  What do you mean by 'high resolution'? JPEG is a lossy compressed format, what is the quality that you choose? I always prefer to use PNG24, also because it supports (partial) transparency. Did you rescale the images, what was the original application they were created in? If it is Photoshop, import the PS-file and let Captivate turn layers or flattened image into PNG (it will not use JPEG).

In every test I've every done High Quality setting actually gives you a lower output file size than Optimised does.  I don't see any advantage to using Optimised at all.
