Captivate 8 Quiz Preferences

When you set your Quiz Preference Success/Completion Criteria to "Slide Views" rather than quiz, why does the Data to Report section stay enabled? The only two options are "Percentage" or "Points."  If you are determining success according to slide views, what percentage or points get transmitted to the LMS? Does having these two options cause LMS errors?
