Captivate 8 result slide showing two extra points.

Question pool has 5 questions visible. There are 5 random question slides each with 1 point. for every correct answer variable cpQuizInfoPointsscored increments 1. Problem is that at the result slide the variable is incremented twice by itself. maligning the result. If I haven't provided single correct answer the score turns out 2. If I answered all correctly, score turns out 7 where as each correct answer increments 1 (max points can be 5). Max Score on result slide is correct 5.

Can anybody suggest where the problem may exist?

That means you have Partial score checked, in the Quiz Properties panel. I am bit astonished, because that also means that you have attached 1 point to each correct answer, which has been done in the Properties panel of that answer? Being not aware of that seems bit strange to me.

Can you check Advanced Interaction panel  (F9) to see which scores are added to the total score? Are you sure not to have two scored objects somewhere else? Each interactive object (button, shape button, click box, Text Entry Box) can have a score.

I imported that question in the pool from gift file; partial score was unchecked but the problem was there, I removed that question and re write it again and the problem was resolved.

You can specify partial scores in a GIFT-file, did you check it?

No Gift file doesn't specify any such thing, and as it was provided by the client, I don't have access to the Moodle package it was exported from.

I further investigated so it adds the points at a multiple choice question with multiple answers, for each correct answer in a single question it adds 1 point. where as I need to set 1 point if all the corrected possibilities are selected. How can I do so??
