Captivate 8 Shape as Button with Hyperlink prevents slide from auto-advancing in a timely fashion

Hello,

I have a project that has a table of contents, a skin with back, forward, and closed captioning. It is published as both swf/html.  All the slides that have without a "shape as button" advance  after the narration is complete. The learner doesn't have to use the TOC/or forward button for it to advance until it gets to the slide where I put a hyperlink in "a shape as button." Then the project takes 10 seconds or more for the slide to advance on its own, if it advances at all, after the learner selects the hyperlink button. For now I've put directions on the screen to advance the slide with the skin after reviewing the links.

My set up in the action menu is "open a url in a new window" and "number of attempts: 1" and "last/attempt is 'continue,'" and I have "continue playing project" selected.  The audio length and slide length are matched. Do you know what the problem might be?
