Captivate 8 Stick Slidelet not "sticking"

I have set the Rollover Slidelet Area for No Action and checked Stick Slidelet., and I have placed an image inside the Slidelet.  Per the Iconlogic "Essentials" workbook, when I preview, the following should occur:

Clicking the Rollover Slidelet Area should cause the Slidelet to appear with the image.  If I move my mouse away from the image, the Slidelet remains for a few seconds and then disappears.  The implication is if I stay over the Rollover Slidelet Area, the Slidelet should remain, but instead it disappears just as if I moved the mouse away.

Similarly (according to the book), if I point to the Rollover Slidelet Area with the mouse, the Slidelet should remain until I move the mouse away; however, it does not.

I am following each step precisely.  Am I missing something?
